And we aren’t even talking about sugar in desserts that we like to indulge in sometimes. It’s the ‘unknown’ sugars we are eating in our daily diet that annoys me. Manufacturers who claim to be ‘fat-free’ and ‘good for you!’ but actually decrease the fat and up the sugar levels so the chemicals they inject into the product still taste palatable.
And sugar isn’t just the white crystals we see above. We are talking about ANY type of simple carbohydrate which have been stripped of it’s nutrients and fiber such as white flour products i.e cake, bread etc as well as sugar laden products as such fizzy drinks. The body reacts the same way to all of them.
